Accessibility Policy
As an organization that is dedicated to access and opportunities for the blind, the Torres Foundation strives to insure equal access for the disabled community on our website. As such, the Foundation has adopted the world Wide Web Consortium’s WCAG 2.1 standard on accessibility as our guideline.
Content-bearing images may use alternative attributes (alt-text) to identify the image. All pages contain a “Skip to Main Content” link to facilitate navigation by screen readers and other non-mouse modes of input. Many of these design elements help people with eye conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinitis pigmentosa.
